Spent half the day yesterday with former colleagues from Tokyo-so great to see old friends! One request was a visit to Joan's on Third. I was happy to take them there for selfish reasons...RESEARCH for Grub Crumbs. Several people in Los Angeles have mentioned Joan's as a fit for Grub Crumbs and I think they might be right! Joan's is a cute gourmet shop (see photo's above) and I noticed there was very little vegan and gluten free gourmet goods!
